One Hit Wonder Central - Forum - ??Smoke City ??
The group Smoke City did have an album entitled "I Want You" (Epic Records) which I have.
The group "Smoke City" of 1985 with the song "Dreams" IS NOT the same group as the UK group called "Smoke City" of the 1990's.
They were a Chicago group, with ties to the DJ, Doug Banks (at the time he worked at WBMX in Chicago).

The City Boys - Free Music Downloads, Videos, CDs, MP3s, Bio, Merchandise and Links
The City Boys are not a music group per se, but warrant an entry because their annual series of live performances have resulted in a group of CD releases under their banner.
Trattoria records released a trio of City Boys CDs in 1997, but though the group has continued its live shows, the CD releases stopped around that time.
Instrumental albums mostly, they rarely feature the City Boys themselves, except for the "My Way" sound-alike "Lovers Rubber Brain," sung drunkenly by Shigeru (it was even released as a single).

 John Zorn's Naked City
The Naked City project (which, compared to the completely improvised ones, is based on composition) was to see how many kinds of music can be made with the same ensemble, to write very different things for the same group.
Naked City marks out the group's territory: jump-cutting micro-collages of hardcore, Country, sleazy jazz, covers of John Barry and Ornette Coleman, brief abstract tussles — a whole city crammed into two or three minute bursts.
This album is essentially a live version of their debut album — 17 of the 20 songs come from Naked City, sometimes in the same sequence.

Girl Groups, Part Two: The Girl Group Sound
This sound later became known as "Girl Group" - a combination of hooky pop innocence, edged with the touch of the inner city.
Although vocal groups went somewhat out of favor when the Beatles hit the charts, some girl groups, like the Shangri-Las and the Marvelettes continued to make records in keeping with the original "sound".
There is very little information available on obscure girl groups other than a handful of fanzines which have been published on the subject.

Royal City - Epitonic.com: Hi Quality Free and Legal MP3 Music
A year later in late 2001, Royal City returned with another great record, Alone at the Microphone, which significantly expands on the endearingly fragile folk-rock style the group explored on their first album.
Like fellow Toronto native Neil Young, Royal City is in the business of desanitizing pop music by dirtying it up with generous helpings of folk and country.
Royal City's marvelous debut LP, At Rush Hour the Cars, came out on Toronto-based Three Gut Records in 2000.

The creation was gradual, although at first, the group’s next album, Chocolate City, certainly does not seem to be a transitional effort.
Despite the attempts of all concerned, Chocolate City is an album in the uncomfortable position of straddling the fence, soaking in the safety of the past while eyeing a future evolution into P-Funk.
Chocolate City may falter at times, but it is certainly an advance from the superior debut.
