The name Evermore comes from Led Zeppelin’s The Battle of Evermore and a B-Side by The Chills simply called 'Evermore'.
Evermore are an alternative rock band, from the New Zealand North Island town of Feilding.
Evermore then went to work recording their next album Dreams.

Shares battle system with Secret of Mana, though there are some major changes to it, such as different weapon classes, lack of multiplayer, only 2 characters (the boy and his dog), an Alchemy system for the game's magic, etc.
THe original Secret of Mana does need to be remade, it had a very flawed and buggy battle system.
*Secret of Evermore (1995, SNES, US/Europe Only) - Not directly related to Mana in any way beyond gameplay, but was made specifically for the US audience and marketed off of it's similarity.

Secret of Evermore shows some of the most advanced graphics without any special chips for the SNES.
I thought the battle engine was more fun than Secret of Mana because of the different weapons and skills.
Finally if you want to buy an action RPG buy Secret of Mana, and then if you want more Mana buy Secret of Evermore.

I liked Legend of Mana, but it seemed too easy for me. After everybattle the characters had 100% health again, and if someone died they could come back to life without giving them anything, if you won that battle.
There is Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, Secret of Mana 2, Legend of Mana, Sword of Mana and probably another i missed.
Secret Of evermore was released in the US and is a great game.
