 Metropolis Records: Project Pitchfork
However, to simply label the band as industrial fails to do their music justice, as they have a strong ethereal Gothic side to them as well, as is strongly evidenced by their two Aurora side projects, and a keen lyrical sense of social justice.
With each release, they never fail to please and this was solidified in 2004 when Project Pitchfork released their long awaited first ever live DVD entitled Live 2003.
Project Pitchfork have deservedly established themselves as one of Europe's most prominant forces in the industrial scene.

Wamdue Kids returned in early 1997 with a full album for Peacefrog, while the Project kept up the fever-pitched release schedule later that year with Deepfall, also on Peacefrog.
Wamdue Productions' recordings provided one of the few convincing home/club fusions which err, if at all, on the side of the dancefloor.

BBC - collective - Project Pitchfork - eon eon
I Live Your Dream is one of the most melancholy tracks put out over the years by Pitchfork, yet one of the most memorable - this almost sounds like part of a movie soundtrack with the choral background vocal and the softer side of the lead vocal, more of a smoocher than a dancer
Steelrose - a complete turnaround from everything else on the album, this is a heavily dance based track, with the vocals again being the part that strips it away from being "just another dance track" - part whisper, part stifled scream, this one is pretty much an EBM classic.
blisteringly dark, yet seductive synthesisers are the predominant sound all the way through this album - one of Pitchfork's more laid back releases - along with the many facets of Peter Spilles' vocal range.

 Metropolis Records Music Reviews
With my only previous experience with the members of Project Pitchfork being the side project Aurora, this album came as a bit of a surprise.
Kind of makes me wonder why there are not more female industrial type acts, considering that every band that I've heard that uses female vocals I've fallen in love with.
I was expecting lulling vocals and ambient soundscapes and ended up with a mild case of gothic industrial indigestion.
