Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mozart received intensive musical training from his father, including instruction in playing both the piano and the violin.
Mozart wrote a number of piano pieces, in particular duets and pieces for two pianos, to play with her.
Mozart lived just a little over half of Beethoven 's life span, yet was amazingly prolific musically from early childhood until his death in 1791.

Amazon.ca: Music: Mozart: Piano Sonatas [IMPORT]
Yet despite this major reservation, Eschenbach's Mozart piano sonatas should be acquired by classical music fans.
Gould distorted several movements beyond sensibility, rushing Andantes and over-emphasizing counterpoint to the sacrifice of melody, but when he was not so distorting the music he was terribly exciting.
As I remember, Eschenbach's DGG recording of the Mozart sonatas didn't make a big splash when it was released.

 Music Pedagogy QA
Listen to a lot of music - - not just piano music - - listen to vocal, orchestral, woodwind quintets, string quartets, etc.
I'd advise classes in applied piano (hope your tendinitis is better!), music history, theory, form and analysis, and music literature (not just piano lit).
Contact your local university and ask for practice time; or perhaps someone in your community can point you toward a private citizen with an instrument in the home (try the local orchestra conductor, choral conductor, and music directors of churches with good music programs; the local organ and piano instructors are another source).
