Im having trouble using these extra bits on stage (mixers nightmare), but they fit quite nicely into my groovy punk funk bands sound.
I was just reading over the funk fingers invention, as it's a hobby of mine to experiment with my bass in dangerous ways, by hitting them with such objects as drills, bolts, nuts, cups etc. The funk fingers really appealed to me! But just as I opened my wallet...
Use the funk fingers to hit the strings in a certain percussive pattern and hammer on and pull off with your fretting hand.
