 WAR - Funk/Jazz/Soul/Latin,
War recorded two more albums with Burdon, "Black Man's Burdon" and "Love Is All Around" which wasn't released until 1976.
War went on to make more albums and hits including "Galaxy" and "Peace Sign" from their last album.
War's next album "The World Is A Ghetto" became a huge success.

New Years Day (5/5)- Awesome song, best song on the album and probobly my fav U2 song, Cool bassline,awesome guitar, great singing and lyrics, its a perfect song.
Any band that can claim an album like War to be their worst overall album (at least I will make that claim) is a great band indeed.
By my count there are six great songs on this album: Sunday Bloody Sunday, Seconds, New Year's Day, Two Hearts Beat as One, Surrender, and "40".

My admiration of Jackson's personal traits is in NO way an endorsement of the policies of the protection and expansion of slavery which the Confederate States of America were founded on.
Immediately following his amputation, General Lee wrote of Jackson: " He has lost his left arm; but I have lost my right arm." Stonewall Jackson is buried in Lexington, Virginia.
Since I am an ardent student of the Civil War and an admirer of Thomas J. Jackson's personal qualities, I chose to honor the General by naming my site after him.
