JacoPastorius.com Discussion Boards - jaco motion picture
What Jaco accomplished in the music industry as a creative instrumentalist (a BASS player of all things) is practically unheard of.
They may be able to knock out a few ham-handed chords on guitar or piano but to reproduce something as hair-raising as Jaco's playing is a bit of a stretch.
I feel a movie about Jaco should be more of a celebration of his musical impact and include BUT NOT MAKE THE ENTIRE FOCUS the years when his illness was manifesting itself most severely.
