Amazon.co.uk: Essential Mix: Mixed By Francois K: Music
This isn't a mix album in the conventional sense, there's not much blending or cutting, but it is a beautiful and thoughtful exploration of dance music's many moods by someone who understands and can integrate them better than most.
This ablum is not about the mixing, or about the huge anthems of the moment, it's about the tunes that have shaped NYC's scene of the last 25 years.

 BPM's
Beat mixing, also known as blending or performing a running mix, is the technique of transitioning from one song to another with no noticeable gap in the audio signal.
You achieve this transition by matching the tempo of the incoming record with that of the current record, then playing the songs simultaneously as you fade the new song up and the old song out.
Even if the beats are matched as perfectly as a new pair of sneakers, your mix still won't sound right if the musical notes clash.
