Libretto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A libretto is the body of words used in an extended musical work such as an opera, operetta, oratorio, or musical.
The role of the libretto in the creation of a musical work varies.
Certainly it is common for works of classical music to be admired in spite of, rather than because of, their libretti.

A libretto is a work containing the words associated with a musical performance such as an opera, operetta, or musical.
The relationship of the libretto to the development of the musical work varies.
It includes the lyrics to the songs as well as any spoken passages.

 Amazon.com: Books: Company
I own a copy of both the vocal score and the complete libretto and I should say it is worth owning both.
Originally a series of one-act plays about marriage, the musical adds a linking character, Robert, who is the only one without a spouse.
To fully get the show one might consider getting the cd (original cast album is the best and can be found here on Amazon.com as well) This is seriously the best libretto I own..

Installing RedHat Linux on a Toshiba Libretto 100CT - RedGrittyBrick
The RedHat CD has separate boot-disk images that include pcmcia and networking but not as a single image?
XFree86 will switch video modes using Ctrl+Alt+Fn+P (if your XF86Config contains a Screen/Display/Modes line that lists several resolutions).
My current plan is to order an adapter cable so I can install the 2.5" IDE drive from the Libretto inside a desktop PC, do the install there using conventional CD and then replace the 2.5" disk in the Libretto and boot.

 Writer's Encyclopedia--Letter M
The writer, or librettist, who in most cases is also a playwright, creates dialogue in collaboration with the composer and the lyricist, who compose the songs.
(Where someone multitalented is involved, it takes only two people, or perhaps just one person, to write a musical.) The librettist's product is the musical's libretto, or book, which contains action, character, situation, setting, dance, dialogue and plot.
Often, the book has been completed before the songs are inserted.

If you intend to use the Libretto's Advanced Power Management 'hibernation' facility (recommended) then you MUST leave the last part of the harddisk free of other filesystems.

Can I use the Libretto's sound system for DOS programs?
The built-in sound card is Sound Blaster compatible, but the internal speaker is mono, and fairly "tinny".

 Libretto: Wagner's Ring
Source material: Primary source for all four librettos is Schott's 1899 vocal scores (republished in the United States by Schirmer in 1904).
The shareware fee is $5 for the set of four librettos, or $2 for each individual libretto.
This seems a bit odd to me, since these are surely the operas for which a translation is most readily available in the non-cyber world.

That shaping began in January 1982, after Akhnaten had been commissioned by the Stuttgart Opera, and continued during the actual process of musical composition, which I started in the summer of 1982.
