Hiro: Heheh, as bald on top as he is on the bottom.
Hiro: Ha ha ha, gnome rock, oh no, that stuff with the big black forest, no light, oh no.
Hiro, so Truly's music has been described as Tolkienesque, what do you think?

 Truly Biography
Hiro Yamamoto is now a father of two and is once again retired from the music business.
Robert and Mark toured Europe in May 2000, in support of Twilight Curtains Collection, with a new bass player George Reed-Harmon (from mid 90's Tacoma art punk band, Delila) and Brian Northrup, an accomplished keyboardist who will be playing Robert's Mellotron, organ and Wurlitzer parts.
They met at the Sub Pop headquarters, and it was agreed that Truly would try to create a more sophisticated sound than the typical music of the time, that they would do things on their own terms, and would only play and tour when they wanted to, not because they had to.

After the release of the album Yamamoto left to go back to college.
In 1989 the band released their first album for a major label, Louder Than Love, released through A&M Records.
The band was formed in 1984 by Chris Cornell (vocals) and Hiro Yamamoto (bass), who were later joined by Kim Thayil (guitar), who had moved to Seattle from Illinois with Yamamoto and Bruce Pavitt, who would later start Sub Pop.

This was Soundgarden's last album with bassist Hiro Yamamoto.
All vinyl issues of Louder Than Love are pressed on audiophile-grade vinyl with Direct Metal Mastering, something that was not openly advertised by AandM.
It subsequently became the lyrics to "I Awake."

Hiro is also somewhat of a lady's man and a charmer.
Despite his high sim scores, his diciplinary record at the academy was anything but exemplary.
He would have graduated top of his class, were it not for the efforts of another classmate by the name of Damien Everidge, who broke numerous records, edging Hiro out.
