The Beatles used a Moog on their 1969 album Abbey Road, and a Moog was the source of the eerie sound on the soundtrack to the 1971 movie A Clockwork Orange.
The instrument was quickly picked up by other musicians, such as the Beatles, looking for ways to fuse their psychedelic drug experiences with their music.
Keyboardist Walter (later Wendy) Carlos, a friend of Bob Moog, demonstrated the range of the synthesizer by using it as his only instrument on the 1968 album Switched-On Bach - one of the best-selling classical music recordings of all time.

There are some great tracks on this album, actually all of them except for the bizarre bonus track “Hound Dog,” which should have been left in the can where it belongs.
Nielsen was a phenomenal guitar player back then as well; in fact, he and the group seemed a step ahead of their contemporaries and I think Nielsen actually took a few paces back and simplified his approach and sound for the band that gave him notoriety.
A pleasant surprise and an exciting listen are on tap for a rock audience that can keep an open mind and remember when this self-titled album was recorded.

With those kind of qualifications, anything Music Emporium made was bound to be worth listening to, and their album doesn't disappoint.
But in spite of what's on the surface, there's a lot more underlying their lone 1969 album than a cursory listen will reveal.
Quite simply, the band lacked both the experience and especially the material to warrant a Stalk-Forrest Group album, which Elektra was more than justified in withdrawing in 1970; in hindsight, the label certainly spared a band destined for greatness the embarrassment of a weak debut.
