Never a band to rest on their laurels, DYING FETUS then completed work on what is easily their finest album (and first for Relapse Records) to date, 'Destroy The Opposition' in July, 2000.

 ***The Clarktones: The Band Page***
The band is currently taking a break and writing for their next al-blum which is said to be the happiest and most angry at the same time.
Although that band was temporary from the start, the Clark's and Autry's formed a musical bond that would last a lifetime.
The super band was formed, but the world-wide success of the Frogs and Fried Dirt left questions of whether or not the Autry-Clark combination could even come close to matching the success of those two bands.

CKY: Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild - PopMatters Music Review
The album demonstrates the band's refusal to bend to any popular music conventions that may have been expected due to its rise as part of the MTV conglomerate, and its new status as major label babies.
Lyrically, the band is just as impressive, with the boys opting for songs about the decaying state of humanity, rather than odes to ex-girlfriends or a corrupt governmental structure.
Proclamations that their third album, Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild, will all but revolutionize the music industry are proof of that.

Destroy All Monsters - Free Music Downloads, Videos, CDs, MP3s, Bio, Merchandise and Links
An anti-rock band founded in direct reaction to the pretensions and complacency of 1970s pop music, the Detroit-based noise deconstructionists Destroy All Monsters earned their greatest notoriety at the peak of the punk era, thanks to a line-up which included alumni of the MC5 and the Stooges.
Upon releasing their first-ever single, 1978's "Bored," Destroy All Monsters became darlings of the British music press, based largely upon the connection to the Stooges' legacy; "Bored" was soon set for UK release on the Cherry Red label, which licensed the record before ever even hearing it.
In response, Loren issued a 1979 live EP, The Days of Diamonds; a year later, he, the Millers, and drummer Rob King formed Xanadu, recording an EP, Black-Out in the City, co-produced by Kelley and Shaw.

The amount of musical casualties is significant and growing, with bands that peak too early being dropped from their labels, and winding up working in a greasy spoon for the rest of their life.
With a solid line-up and a shared bond, the band began to take their music seriously and began writing together in earnest.

 TrouserPress.com :: Sonic's Rendezvous Band/Destroy All Monsters
The split LP with Ron Asheton's Destroy All Monsters again resurrects "City Slang" from the 45 (also reissued elsewhere on a facsimile bootleg single), but with clean, sharp sound, as mean as the original.
The side also includes a studio instrumental that was obviously intended for vocals and suffers for their absence, and a pair of live tunes on a par with the prior LP.
Thankfully, flamboyant hack vocalist Kathy Deschaine (the fourth bandmember, the fifth wheel) is relegated to a minor role; nevertheless, the LP elicits a dulled demo feel, lacking the kinetic electricity conjured by the former band even on the crummiest archival bootlegs.

While still in the same vain as the band's last album (Microscopic View of Telescopic Realm), "Where Moth and Rust Destroy" is in some ways a departure from that CD.  The band never likes to repeat what they did on a previous album and they haven't with this new release.
To most bands a situation such as this would have been a major set-back, but when you're Tourniquet, it just means you produce an album that may be your best release yet.

Whether due to the band’s vicious new-wave grindcore spazzery, their penchant for gimmicky/collectible merchandise or their recent allegiance with Epitaph, the Locust affects people, which is more than can be said for 99% of the world’s punk rock bands.
And what the Locust do is undeniably punk -- honest, principled and fuelled by the desire to destroy: destroy complacency, destroy familiarity, destroy tradition, destroy music, destroy you.
The band’s current line-up consists of members of the sorely missed Swing Kids (bassist/vocalist Justin Pearson), vegan gore-grinders Cattle Decapitation (drummer Gabe Serbian) and fuck-rock aficionados Le Shok (keybordist Joey Karam), with Robert Bray (guitar), Pearson and Serbian also performing in Holy Molar.
