Foster also claims that he and Anderson also composed the song at the core of "Yours Is No Disgrace" from The Yes Album together, although he never received credit.
England's David Foster not to be confused with the Canadian born producer-songwriter was a member of the late '60s group the Warriors, whose members included Jon Anderson of Yes on backing vocals and future King Crimson/Bob Dylan alumnus Ian Wallace.
In '69 David teamed up again with Jon Anderson who was then with Yes and together they wrote Sweet Dreams and Yours Is No Disgrace, which were recorded by Yes on the Time And A Word album and the Yes Album.

Although Foster has built his reputation as a songwriter and producer, this album also proves he is a terrific musical artist in his own right.
There were actually two versions of this song on that soundtrack by David Foster - one with vocals (Foster) and one as an instumental.
His self-titled debut album "David Foster" doesn't disappoint - in fact it is outstanding.

It's safe to say that, in the music business at least, David Foster has done it all.

Powell's Books - Review-a-Day - Oblivion: Stories by David Foster Wallace, reviewed by Salon.com
Shit and pain, the bedrock unavoidability of both, are the stuff of life itself, after all.
Instead, it's what we put between ourselves and those intolerable facts, the middle ground we make between mortification and oblivion.
With his new story collection, David Foster Wallace has perfected a particularly subtle form of horror story — so subtle, in fact, that to judge from the book's reviews, few of his readers even realize that's what these stories are.

Foster, 65, had been the top executive at Ablest since the Heist subsidiary was created in 1978, and assumed full responsibility for its operations in 1986.

Though IT services accounted for 15 percent of the company's revenues in 1999, Ablest has no plans to develop a Web presence of its own, Foster says.

Violence in Argentine Literature, by David William Foster
Foster discusses the works of such authors as Enrique Medina, Marta Lynch, Griselda Gambaro, Ricardo Piglia, and Alejandra Pizarnik, among others.
Basing his discussion on the principle that a literary work constitutes a "rewriting" of the sociohistorical text, Foster examines a range of essays and novels for the ways in which they structure an interpretation of sociopolitical events.
Of particular concern is the ideological framing of the literary work and the semiotic complications that arise in the rewriting of a complex and often elusive historical past.

 Oblivion - David Foster Wallace
Oblivion is David Foster Wallace’s third and best collection of short stories to date.
David Foster Wallace has long been a master at showing us the face of chaos.
Without sacrificing his flair for brainy surreal prose and dead-on social satire—which have on occasion seemed like ends in themselves—Wallace has added a stronger than usual emphasis on narrative drive and ingenious plotting.

 David Foster Wallace
Infinite Jest is a futuristic burlesque of entertainment, a novel concerned about what we choose to get ourselves off on, and where we find ourselves when we turn away from the television or the drug wears off.

The Books: Oblivion by David Foster Wallace
In the stories that make up Oblivion, David Foster Wallace joins the rawest, most naked humanity with the infinite involutions of self-consciousness-a combination that is dazzlingly, uniquely his.
Or explore the deepest and most hilarious aspects of creativity by delineating the office politics surrounding a magazine profile of an artist who produces miniature sculptures in an anatomically inconceivable way ("The Suffering Channel").

 Milken Educator - David Foster
Foster attaches great significance to his work with the South Carolina Teacher Forum, an organization composed of all District Teachers of the Year in the state.
Foster, a leader in math education, has in recent years become a very different teacher: "through course-work and serving as the school's math specialist, I have become a mathematician," he says.
Foster emphasizes process over solutions; students are asked to work in teams over extended periods of time, he explains, and upper-grade students assist lower-grade schoolmates.
