Dan Hartman (December 8, 1950- March 22, 1994) was an American singer, songwriter and record producer.
Hartman played keyboards and wrote much of the band's music, but although several records were released they were not hits.
Hartman reached the peak of his lengthy career in 1978 with the Number 1 single "Instant Replay", which to this day remains a popular oldie (one of the musicians Hartman worked with on the album was Vinnie Vincent).
