 Amazon.co.uk: Fireflies [Import]: Music
Fireflies is a far cry from the wayward 'Cry' album and still shows the country world she is still country through and through.
One of the besT songs on the album is the song 'I Want You', there are no filler on the album and this shows why Faith Hill is the best female country singer at the moment.
As half of Country music's "hot couple", Faith Hill again proves that she is one of those rare artistes whose albums you can buy without even listening to it first, especially with four Grammy Awards and several Country music awards under her belt.

Faith Hill - Fireflies - Stylus Magazine
Her last album, 2003’s Cry, was an infamously naked grab for pop dollars and was a miserable (critical) failure.
Likewise, it’s no surprise to find a duet with McGraw on a Faith Hill album; the one here, “Like We Never Loved At All,” is akin to previous ones in that it’s again fairly generic.
So her new album, Fireflies, is being talked about as a “return to country,” something to remind us of why Faith became a star in the first place.

It’s been quite some time since Faith Hill’s Breathe (1999) and Cry (2002) albums on which she took a decided turn into the field of Pop/Country…and while that was a successful trip for her, it did leave her early career country fan base out in the cold.
The album’s title track, Fireflies, and two other selections, If You Ask, and Stealing Kisses, all come from the pen of Boston-based composer /singer Lori McKenna; heard previously on McKenna’s own albums, and given strong interpretations here by Faith Hill.
Not unlike LeeAnn Womack’s return to her roots earlier this year with her remarkable hardcore country album, Faith Hill seems like she is ready for at least a partial return to ‘country’ way of life on Firelfies (although not going quite as far as Ms.

BBC - Folk & Country Review - Faith Hill, Fireflies
The country superstar's first album since 2002's desperately commercial Cry sees her taking a more downhome turn; the prominence of the mandolins and steel, the 'I'm just Jenny from the block' style protestations in "Mississippi Girl" and even her new brunette look, for which she quite literally went back to her roots, ho ho.
The complex relationships featured in the three Lori McKenna songs, the light-hearted "Sunshine And Summertime" and the shotgun wedding humour of "Dearly Beloved" help make Fireflies one of the most enjoyable albums of Hill's 12 year career.
