At $850, the Cadillac “Thirty-Five” is the first automobile mass produced on assembly lines with completely interchangeable parts, marketed to the middle class.
However, with its recovery in the summer of 1908, orders from around the United States are being fielded in the thousands, placing Cadillac as the highest grossing automobile manufacturer in the nation.
