Though Vig had originally been hired to both produce and mix the record, the sessions had fallen behind schedule, and the band's management and label were keen to draft in a new engineer.
The last step for Vig was to select track 20's chorus as the "hot" one and move it down to track 15 with the master vocal take.

Having strangely snubbed Scotland on their short tour earlier this year Garbage have lined up a couple of dates as a warm up to their headlining performance on the main stage at the Reading Festival on Sunday 30th August.
A string of singles (in the UK) were released, reaching progressively higher chart positions.
