 Breakin' Out
Breakin' Out is a must for any music listener who enjoys songs that not only go somewhere and do something, but do those things in a way that makes sense and has a purpose, both to and for the listener.
The Breakin' Out music album was arranged and produced by songwriter and popular Southern California music teacher Tom Fair, former member of the 60's rock band Left Banke (known for the hit song "Just Walk Away Renee").

Breakin' - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Though the Breakin' soundtrack has become a quaint period piece since its release, it is still a notable album.
For all its flaws, fans who want to learn the roots of hip-hop (or are in the mood for a cute, lighthearted listen) should seek Breakin' out.
The album is also notable for the debut performance of Ice-T, who is miles away from "New Jack Hustler" (not to mention "Cop Killer") with the poppy, good-natured "Reckless." It's hardly essential, but a funny rarity nonetheless.

Breakin' and Breakin' II: Electric Boogaloo are simply feel-good, fun-loving musicals with a charismatic cast, fabulous dancing, decent music, and a positive message about believing in yourself, believing in your dreams, accepting others, and the joys of dancing up the walls of your pad in order to impress cute Hispanic girls.
Breakin' was a huge hit, and it's following has grown as its status as one of the great cult films of the 1980s has worked wonders for its enduring popularity.
They must have foreseen the success of Breakin', because less than a year later, Golan and Globus returned with a new offering that would become one of the most recognizable titles in film history: Breakin' II: Electric Boogaloo.
