The claim to fame of Pulse, Pink Floyd's two-CD live album released in 1995, is the live performance of Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety.
The PULSE album originally came packaged with a blinking light on the spine of the CD artwork.
Pulse was superbly produced by guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour and longtime engineer James Guthrie whom also engineered and mixed the album.

Steel Pulse began with their intro medley that included brief snippets of Chant A Psalm, Bad Man, Macka Splaff and Nyahbinghi Voyage before rounding off the medley with an extended Don't Give In.
I also met Ron Hammond from Pulse HQ, who was attending his first live Pulse gig as well as Richard Hermitage, the band's manager, who hopes to confirm another one or two UK gigs before the end of the year.

As has been the case throughout the Ultimate Collection series, Hip-O doesn't skimp on content, packing the CD with 73 and a half minutes of prime Pulse, ranging from their deepest grooves ("Ku Klux Klan," "Revolution Dub Take 1") to their finest high spirited vocal harmonies ("Burning Flame," "Evermore").
Steel Pulse still make some interesting music, but they seem to have strayed from the deep grooves that drew me to them in the first place, and I have to think a lot of people probably agree.
This is Steel Pulse as they were when they were often mentioned in the same breath with Jamaican artists like Burning Spear and Culture.
